Madison got to go home yesterday!

Sleepover

Kara got a room in the child birth center today and she gets to have Madison stay in the room with her. The doctors said she will get to go home tomorrow or Wednesday, hopefully. I posted some new pictures of Madison on Snapfish.

Update

I know it has been a long time. Madison weighs 7 lbs. She is taking all her feedings from the bottle. She was supposed to come home today, but now it is going to be at least another five days. Not much else to report, she is just busy growing and sleeping.

Registry

Kara got registered at Target today for somethings Madison may need.

Success

Madison was safely transported to Bellingham this morning. She spent the day getting settled in and sleeping. It is so great to have her closer to home.

The Big Move

Thursday Madison will be moving to St. Joe's hospital in Bellingham around 7:30 a.m. She weighs 5lbs. 13oz. She is taking over half of her feedings from a bottle. After she is feeding only from a bottle, she will be able to come home, hopefully in the next few weeks.

The doctors are watching Madison's eyes too. Right now they are the best they can be. She has another eye check in two weeks and if they continue to do well, she will probably not need laser surgery. She also passed her hearing test.

5 pounds!

Madison weighs 5lbs. today. She is totally off the oxygen now and continuing to work on bottle feeding.
